Variable Pattern

In Pro-E 2001 there was an option to create a pattern using variable distances in between the features. In wildfire, there is the option of switching between Identical, Variable and General, but I cannot figure out how to use it. I changed to variable but cannot figure out how to change it so that I have different lengths between the holes. I am trying to get a pattern that shows dimensions from hole to hole. Pattern table will have all the dimensions coming from whatever the original start point was. Does anybody know how to create a pattern that will look like the image below, where the typical distance between the holes is 1.5 but there will be one variable distance of 2.0?

Thats not how I want the dimensions to come out. The table will have all dimensions from the start point to the center of the hole. I want the holes to have the dimensions from center to center. I want to control the distance between the holes themselves not the distance from the edge to the hole or from the center plane to the hole. Thanks for the response though. I assume this must not be a popular way of doing patterns.

You could create the first two holes as one pattern. Then create the third hole with the 2.0 dimension from the second hole. Now pattern the third hole using the 1.5 dimension as the increment.

Just a note: the identical, variable and general pattern options are for the type of goemetric intersections not the dimensions.

Identical - all have to intersect the same face, can not interscet each other andc can not cross multiple faces

Variable - can intesect multiple faces, can go off edge of face, but not intersect each other.

General can cross multiple faces, go off edge of a face and intersect each othe.

Each on requires more horse power to creat then the one before it.
