Variable pitch helical curve

Any one help with the equation for a variable pitch helical curve? Wanting to generate curve from equation.

Leo Greene has a great video on how to do variable pitch helical spring. That might help get you started.

Try using Insert-->Helical Sweep-->... Select Variable
pitch. If your curve is helical, perhaps there is no need
to use VSS. As for the variable pitch, you can directly
input the X and Y values. I hope I have got it right.
