Variable section sweep using graph featur

I have recently switched over from ProE2001 and am trying to create an axial cam

Hey. Do you have a function describing the profile?


If so you could create a sweep using the circle as trajectory and the rectangle as your sweep sketch. While still in sketch goto tools relations and add the parameter which represents the height. eg sd7= (your function here). The variation per angle if you which is described by 'trajpar' as the trajectory is defined from 0 to 1 by the circle.


so for example sd7=3+sin(trajpar*5) should give you a sinus movement.


Its been a while that ive had the need to use it so there could be some glitches in what i wrote
