Dear all,

can sombody will help me to solve the problem related with large assembly.I am working on WF4 with foundation extension license.I have a model wich contain a pattern of feature with more than 10,000 copies. So can somone will help me try to solve this proble.I have tried geometric representation as well created several different representation. This assembly contain 5 assembly cut features. So the problen increases again. I have tried different style with blank copies but every time it shows the same problem.

whats exactly is the problem?

if the problem is that the model is heavy, have you tried symbolic rep?

if possible, change your patterns to "identical" or "variable", instead of "General..." makes your model "lighter". Regeneration will be faster too.

You can use 3GB switch in XP 32 bit OS in case you are running out of memory. You will find the instructions from PTC support TPI id 111330.

Thanks for this help. Actually I am working in refractory where I have to deal with large quantity of bricks maybe 12k 13k or more than that.A model of brick is called in assembly enviornment and then pattern of it is need to be created. So the problem begins in assembly.Where i have to deal with monster of proe "Short of MEMORY". So if sombody can assist in this problem it will be really very appriciated. I am trying to solve this problem but somhow I am able to managed up to 40% of this. So trying to get the solution.

I would avoid patterning a part 12,000 times over. There must be other ways you can represent what you are trying to convey? You can still use the surface transform pattern method and trick the BOM on your drawing using table relations.

please find the drawing with marked area.1_ having bricks with somwhere 12 to 13 k in numbers 2) this furnace has assembly cut for brick which is creating problems. So can somebody will help me in this.If i am trying to work with this huge assembly so its prompting an low mwmory problem.I am working on foundation license is that a problem.I have tried graphics representations and geometric representation help little bit but proble sitll exists
