Wall Thickness calculation in Pro/E

Dear All,


I want to know how to calculate the wall thickness of cast component in Pro/E. I have tried below commands in Pro/E,


1. Analysis-Measure-Distance &


2. Analysis-Model Thickness.


Apart from above two methods, is there any other method to find the exact wall thickness of a cast component? If so plz let me know, it'll be haelpfull for me.

you dont calculate the wall thinkness you calculate the surface area at that cross section. hope that helps.

Yes, 3D Caliper!!! That is the way to go, you can check the wall thickness of an entire model in a few seconds.
