Warp tool

Any experts on using the warp tool? I have a clamp (nylon hose clamp) that I need to twist open

Try using Flexible components instead of Warp. This way you can have two stages of the part. One in the open condition as shown and another in the Closed condition as in Assembly.


Edit>setup>Flexible.....


Lookup Proe help on Flexible components and how to make a component flexible.


Warp would not be the right tool for this.

u must make ur model a solid, before you can use warp

You can capture the ends from your importfeature then create a parametric joining feature (the strap). Assemble the imports and the parametric components. If relations are added to the strap keeping the arc-length the same while adjusting the angle, you can get a parametric clamp.
