welds in section view

i cant seem to get welds that should be hidden to go away in a section view


if i select include quilts while making the section i get the option for hidden line removal in sections however it removes them all


what im looking for is just the welds that are behind other geometry to be hidden like regular geometry


anyone have any ideas?

put the welds on their own layer and turn the layer off?

I've never used the Pro/E weld features because they are just surfaces and when I started using Pro/E the weld features did not exist. I've always made solid parts so they always behave perfectly, just like any other part. Don't know why Pro/E implemented them the way they did.
