Welds on drawings

I'm using the weld application (module? Whatever) to graphically show the welds on some parts. On the drawing the welds show up in all the views as thick solid lines, even when they at least should be hidden lines, and also my my views where I have hidden lines removed.

Any way to fix this?

That's wonderful! Now, the next logical but dumb question, how can I make my view preferences the default settings on view creation? Right now all lines are shown as visible, hidden, tangent, etc... I want the hidden lines shown as hidden and tangent lines as not visible by default.

Thanks!

In WF3 (other versions are similar) right click on the drawing (outside of a view) and select properties. Then select Drawing Options. In this dialog box, you set the default values for various drawing options. You can save the drawing setup as a .dtl file and reload them later. Also when drawings are created they refer to an existing file depending on your setup.
