WF3.0 Issues w/ assy of multiple parts

Does anyone else out there have issues with WildFire 3.0 in assembly mode? Nearly every time I try to bring in the second instance of a part, the constraints are already set up and I have to delete them andgo through a bunchof BSto get it where I want it. On occasion I can just pick the Assembly constraints and the part auto-places itself, but that doesn't work out all the time. And what if I want to set up different constraints. I just find this Auto-set featrure (or whatever you call it) to be very annoying and it takes a great deal of time to deal with. I learned on WF and work with WF3.0 on occasion, so I still getting used to the new interface. I like what I see so far, but this assembly thing is a nuisance right now.


Is there a setting to bring in all new parts without constraints already assumed or set up????

Yes, go to Tools->assembly settings -> Placement Preferences


You should toggle to select interface set to none and uncheck temporary component interfaces. Play around with those settings til you get what you want.
