WF4 orange dimensions

Getting dimensions in drawings coming thru in orange - they print bold. If you RMB the dim then Text Style>Color>Cancel it fixes this.

The orange represents a constrained dimension in sketcher- perhaps its contrained in the drawing.

Is this a feature or a bug?

moriarty,

Orange signifies a locked dimension. On the printout for the drawing they are printed out thicker, I discovered to my chagrin.

Its odd though that this behaviour goes away if you try and edit the text style color -dont need to even change it- and exit back out to the drawing. The dimension goes back to normal.

Perhaps this is a bug?

Dimensions in the model/assembly show up orange when they are locked. This never happened in the drawing.

I'm submitting my vote for BUG. Way to go PTC, another massive screw up.

I finally checked the PTC website. This is indeed a problem. There is a TAN & an SPR filed.

The solution is to download & install M040, which is available today.

change your config option lock_modified_dims to no and this will sort this problem out I think.

I disagree entirely. Having the modified sketcher dims lock is a big help.

To solve the problem, UPDATE TO RELEASE M040. I REPEAT, UPDATE TO M040.
