What about the competetion guys?? 2006 had gone and 07 is start to going

Hey Zaki, I havent heard any talk of this in a long time. When I get some free time maybe i'll come up with some kind of idea.

Zaki, the challenges that you often come up with are good fun and a good way of helping new users learn. They wereperfect competition material,subjectwas easy to follow,item could be completed within a few hours max etc...


As for the proper competition,I think it all got a little out of hand to be honest, we all just wanted a bit of fun and something simple...but it ended up being too complex and un-managable.


I think there is a thread dedicated to that on this forum now, on thepro-e home page however its only open toadmin users by the looks of things, a little dissapointing. Good news is that I have just taken a look and itrecieved itslast post on 5th Feb, so maybe they are working hard on something. A little update would be nice though

Sorry Zaki, your right, a little off topic. I guess things are progressing behind the scenes as there is a specific Competition room now, available only to select members.

Well, the last competition idea fails because people (well some of them) wants to be a big competition, with time limit, selected judges, sponsors, big prizes, special section of mcad central for uploading parts and pictures...

You see point why this failed.

So for new competition, something light, and fun, like was the original idea.
