Why click twice to disable constraint?

In WF5 when I want to disable a constraint assumed by the sketcher, I have to right click twice. After the first right click a red ring appears around the constraint symbol and the secont time it's disabled. In WF4 you only had to right click once. What does this extra click do? Is there some function I've missed?

It allows you to do the allow(strong)/disallow with the
mouse only, whereas previous versions you have to use shift
to get the allow(strong)(ring) option.
