which pro-e version are you talkin about?

there is a slight change in wf5.0 as normal center lines do not work for a revolve command u have to use geometric centre lines

From the dash board, outside sketcher, you can pick a revolve axis from axes that already exist in your model. If you sketch an axis in your sketch, PrO|E will use that one instead.

Then again, re-thinking your question, is it possible that you simply don't have axes displayed? Click the 'show axes' button on the toolbar.

In your sketch, the centerline can be used as your axis. Just right-click the centerline, and choose 'Axis of Revolution'. When you exit sketcher, your revolve will be about your internal (sketched) axis.

Check out the first dimensioning tip. Might help with your revolves.
