Hi Folks,
I've been learning Pro E for a month or two now in preparation for classes in the winter quarter. One thing I would like to be able to do is scan in a full sized drawing into a TIFF file and import it into PRO E onto a plane of my choosing, orient it and scale it as appropriate. Is this possible, and if so, how would I accomplish the import and placement of the TIFF. The plan is to take geometry I have in TIFF and PDF formats and trace over the general geometry. I know there are DXF converters, but I have had limited success with them. I am hoping to be able to snap to the TIFF in key areas of the geometry and tweak it as necessary using the Pro E drawing tools as I generate designs. Can anyone help me with this? Thanks in advance for your replies, I really appreciate it!
