Wire Whisk prob;ems

<DIV>I am a new user and have Wildfire 3. I have attempted to model the wire whisk as shown in a recently publishedtutorial. I have a problem patterning the protrusion. Let me explain, I can pattern the Axis direction but no dimensions are shown when I open the collector in the attempt to insert the vertical distance of 4. </DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>The strange thing is that If I patterned the original sketch, I can complete the entire pattern as the dimensions show when opening the collector. This, of course gives me the sketch patterns for the other whisk parts but require to be swept.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Is there some setting in the program that I have to make in order that the model can be completed using the original protrusion?</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Your assistance with the above would be much appreciated.</DIV>

i think you mis-read this part

"Now we will
create a sweep protrusion (be sure to pause the feature creation and
create an internal angle plane for use later to pattern the sweep).

basically
1-axis.
2-plane --> refernceing axis + angle to another datum
3-sketch on above plane
4-VSS your sketch

group up 2 3 and 4

pattern. (Dimension style)
