We have our option set to save to the working directory.
So when we save a pdf file it goes to the working directory.
The PDf's in a given drawing package often need to be in several different directories.
So we have mapkeys toset the working directory. Then a mapkey to save the PDF and it gets saved to the correct directory. Because of the numbering system this means jumping from directory to directory to save the PDF's. Because of the jumping around it is not always easy to remember where your working directory has been set to. It would be helpful it itwere displayed on th screen. Similar to the way the active modelis displayed in the lower left corner
Thanks fortaking an interest
PS: I was at your presentation at the World conference, Excellent!
You can also change the default working directly by right clicking the Pro/Engineer shortcut on your desktop and changing 'start in' to the path for your desired working directory
i.e. 'c:\program files\proe\defaultworkingdirectory'
File > Set Working Directory will show you the current working directory just Like Save As will show you what directory a picture or Doc file you are working on was saved in.
If you try File > Delete Old Versions and get not in database error you'll have to set the working directory to that folder for delete old versions to work.
