wrapped text problem

hello i know this is a very simple thing to do but i couldnt manage to do it

i have an cylinder and i have wrapped and also projectedtext on it.
how can extrude those sketches?

for projected text ,you just simply use draft offset feature to "raise" the text.


for wraped text,you can do it by following several steps list below:


1.flatten quiltof the cylinder,see below

2.extrude the text on the flatten surface

3.the last,bend the solid back to the cylinder.done.

I am in 2001. You can create a projected datum curve onto the surfaces. Then use the Tweak/Offset and use Loop Curves to select all curves per letter. You then can use a positive or negative value which determines if material is added or taken away. The placement of your datum plane with respect to the surfaces will determine which side of the part the feature gets placed.
