Wrong dimension values showing

I have recently come across a stubborn ordinate dimension that displays the wrong value. It is an ordinate dimension that displays exactly half of what the actual value should be. Curiously enough, the drawing scale is 1/2. Properties for the dimension show an @D, and odd123 for the text and name fields.

has anyone else seen this problem?

Make sure that the drawing option draft_scale is set to 1.0000, and view_scale_denominator is set to Zero.

I used to have a vaguely similar problem a few versions ago.

A revolved section had a radius dimension from the centreline to a sketched entity. This dimension was edit/replaced with a diameter dimension which yielded double the numerical value however when the part was regenerated the revolved feature was now twice the size specified by the new diameter dimension.

In the beginning, there was reboot.....and it was good.

I completely blew away the ordinate dims, and the baseline, and recreated the dims correctly. And since the origins of this drwaing are lost in time, we may never know what our ancient forefathers were trying to ordinately dimension!

Thanks for the help, everyone!
