xsec on drafted surf

Sketcher mode...I'm trying to use a drafted surface as a Xsec reference, the command line says "Selected surface doesn't intersect the sketching plane" (????) but actually it does!!! Is it a bug or I'm missing something?

THANKS

Don't know, not enough info. Does the surface intersect the sketch plane or is it co-planar? If you create a cube, sketch on one of it's surfaces; you can't use xsec ref. If that's not it you might be looking a model accuracy issue.

I see what you mean. It's a new one on me. Appears to fail if the xsec (? my guess) will create more than one curve.

Note the included angle (150 deg) in "Indicator". Edit "section_profile", change the angle to >150 and Sketch_3 fails because the reference is lost and can not be updated.

I'd call it a bug but maybe someone else can offer a "logical" explanation or point to some documentation explaining the failure.
