Jason,

Its normal now. Thanks for taking cognizance of that and a quick action to rectify it.

its similar MIKO but there is no rotation in the wires. Look at my picture again, the wires rotate around the wooden balls. Very close tho.

it is not a problem. Just create two 2Dimensional curves and than INTERSECT. From intersected curve create circle profile by SWEPT BLEND. but this topic is not about your challenge

Hey guys,

Sorry for the late reply, im so busy lately not had much time to play about.

Miko, thats a good challenge, I have NO idea how to create it hehe, are you using swept blends, sweep surfaces or the warp feature... looking forward to your explination

I have no idea what is the correct features touse to create Miko`s model. For your info, this small piece was created by using a swept blend feature to create a curved arc between the two pipes, then I used the Warp feature to Twist the model about an axis point etc.

I have never used the warp feature, it seems like a very powerful tool. Do people use this very often ?

Hi all.

Zaki:Your model is very close to my, but those bulges along the twisted surface are missing.

Skint: This isright way how to create it butyou have notany continuity between ribs and pipes.

I will sendrighttechnique how to create ittomorrow.... I'll upload the file.

Nice job Zaki. I wish I had some time to do this but right now I dont. I am under a deadline and need to get work done.

Hi Miko

Actually I dont have enough time to do these jobs now a days. I am busy to complete a project in my office. So I dont make those bulges but my name on one leg. I am uploading my part and u can see how quick I made it.

Thanks CP for ur complements.

Hi Zaki.

As I can see you are skilled
smiley32.gif
.Your modelwas created reallyvery quick.Thank you for your reply and cooperation as well. I have to say, my model was created little complicated than your because I usedStyle featurebut this is not important. Anywayour resultsare equal.

This is my part made in WF 2.0> 2006-03-25_065600_fence-part.prt.zip

Hi Skint.

I think the WARP feature is only for design. Warp is not intended for Manufacturing, BMX, Mechanica modulesbecause Warp is creating indefinite geometry.

Thank you all for cooperation.
