As Long As We're Talking About Y14.5M

Doug, from what I've read about 14.41 (I don't have it yet) it seems to be all about annotating the 3D model for use with its drawing or standalone by itself without its drawing. My only concern (so far) is that suppliers will be forced into having one seat of CAD for each different CAD vendor. Doesn't the spec talk about suppliers opening the model and getting all the information from the model and not using the drawing?
