Axis Lines move in drawing

I am having a problem with a generic assembly and it's instances. I create an exploded view in the drawings (one for each instance) and put in my axis lines from part (screw) to plate. I have multiple exploded sub-assemblies that I am also working with in each drawing. I complete my drawing with the exploded view. I file the drawing, erase the drawing and do an erase not displayed. After going back into the drawings almost all of the axis lines (but not all) have moved to a different position in the view. Nothing is suppresed or blanked out of the instances. The generic verifies with no problem. the generic assembly has not been moved from it's origins. I am stumped. Anyone have any ideas. I am using Wildfire 4.0 and Intralink 9.1

so how did you put in Axis lines? Did you take the Axis line from one in the model. If so I would expect you not to have that problem.

In the drawing I did a VIEW which goes to a SHOW and ERASE window, highlighted theCENTERLINE ICON andthen proceeded to pick the axis' that I needed. I then proceeded to lengthen the axis lines as needed.I then filed my drawing and exited the drawing.

hi...
actually,
- If u use offset lines for exploded view, it will not move in vaious instance views.
- If u use axis, u can resize it as per ur requirements
for each instance view.

See attached example (open drawing, WF-4 files):

s_pme20,

Thanks for your reply. I have worked with othermodel assemblies as you have suggested and have had no problems. This time I decided to try the way of exploding the asssembly in the drawing and ran into the problem described. I guess I will have to keep using the alternate method. Thanks again.
