Balloons, table ... all text disappear

This is most peculiar.

I have an assembly that contains this one sub-assembly with an assemblycut feature-- I believe this is causing the problem--

I created a drawing of the assembly with repeat region table and balloons along with our customized table format.

Upon calling the drawingthetable, balloons and text insidethe format disappear.

If I suppress the aforementioned sub-assemblyall table and balloonsetc.. show up.

Thinking that possibly the assembly cut in mysub-assembly was causing the problem I made it flexible and suppressed the assembly cut. To no avail.

Anyone ever runinto anything like this. PTC is of no help.

Anyhelp would bemuch appreciated.

Are you sure this is not something to do with your layers? Are you by any chance suppressing the layer which has all notes and balloons inadvertently? I do that once in a while and tear my hair out before I realize that I blanked all my layers.. just a thought..

Well, it turns out that the assembly was using a component withan isolated layer consequently hiding all other layers in my assembly. Was not obvious.

So, it was layer related after all.

Thanx

That's why I always have the drawing ignore & override the model layers. Saves a LOT of frustration.
