Can’t Dimension helical feature on dwg.

There is a way to create dimension when ProE doesn't want to do it.

1) Lets say you are in model andcreating a sketch that uses some existing entities as references. And your sketch is constrained to those references in a way that there are no dimensions. Even in that case you can create dimensions in your sketch. You wonder how when ProE keeps reporting that a sketch is overconstrained and your sketch turns to red. Well, you should just declare your newly created dimensionsto beREFERENCE dimensions. So, create in that manner all dimensions that you want to display in drawing.

2) Now, when you are in drawing, use SHOW/ERASE to show dimensions of your sketch (or feature that uses that sketch). You will see dimensions with values looking like: "120 REF", "42 REF",... REF appears everywhere. No problem! Just edit properties of your dimensions (change text) removing "REF" and you will get dimension just the way you like it.

... in a similar way you can solve a problem with your drawing. If necessary create new sketch feature that would serve as source of dimensions.

Wish you luck.
