cant make section

i have a problem while placing section view for a particular drawing inthe assembly,


it says cant creat Xsection, ne side edge found"

Make sure the section is orientated the same as the view you are trying to create.

Are you creating an auxillary view and using an edge to define the fold direction?Place a datum plane in the model so that the plane being viewed on its side will give you an 'edge' reference to define your view. This is not a real edge, but it is more stable and will not blow up like modified or unregerated part edges.

iam just tring to put simple projected section view, Whenever i open assenbly Or manufacturing it gives tat warning " One- Sided edges in ####.prt, Regen to avoid Failure Of Xsec & new Feat"


but the same model i have created seperately using reference frm tat prt shows the sectional view
