center line requirement

In Part mode you can create Datum plane thru slots then Datum axis by using Two planes and then in Drawing show it.

I hope this help.

I've just added workplanes and axis to the model, switched back to drawing file, select show axis from theshow/erase dialog box, and managed to show them in the drawing. I could only select them from the tree, couldn't select them from the drawing with axis and planes displayed. Is this right ??

Thanks for your help, very much appreciated.

Also tip:
When you got situation to create more axis on some difficulty places, or you cannot create linear axis (you must have circular) just simply draw curves on place where you want axis and changein properties Style to centerline. Put those curves to Layer so you can show them when you need, or hide them when you don't need them.

For showing an axis the easiest way I have found is to use the show/erase and then by view. Then click on the view and then select the ones to keep. And like mentioned previously, this works for circular features where an axis is automatically created. If this were a non-circular cut you could add the axis yourself in the model and then do the steps above.
