Hi,

Facing a bit of difficulty with the change in font.

Problem is, I want the font of the note to be changed to "ROMANS" which is a part of Autocad and the same is not displayed in Proe Fonts.I see the options to import IGES fonts etc, but i am not aware how to use it.

I am not sure if it is a possibility, But I would like to here some comment from your side

Thanks In advance

Hi,

Thanks for the reply.RomanS is not a part of windows fonts so your above mentioned solutions is not applicable.

I think I was not very clear. Romans is supposed to be a standard font for my customer. If I have to convince them to use any other font other than ROMANS then I wouldtry withdefault fonts of proe(as i can even set it in DTL file).

Now the question is Autocad has Romans.shx file. Can I import it into Proe??.or is there an equivalent to ROMANS In PROE??

Regards,

Deepak Bhat

My advice is to stick with ProE vector-based fonts.

Using windows fonts grows the size of the drawings and speciallly plotfiles a lot.

Read that WF3 is supposed to handle this better but have no experience myself.

Hi,

Yeh I know that ,but my customer would prefere it in ROMANS(Cant help).I need to convince him against that.I was about to talk to him that it is not possible but b4 that I wanted to give a last try in this forum.

Well Thanks again.
