cloth filter media

Hi Folks,


I am trying to model a cloth media in Pro/e for a fuel filter. I also need to create a flatten state of the media, similar to a sheetmetal part. Any suggestions would be appreciated. (See attached image).

Wish u a very happy new year...


It looks like you are using Pro/E 2001. My suggestion is that you could create the cloth using a surface and use the option flatten quilt. This way you would be able to get the blank shape and size too.
