Hi all, I have a problem with cosmetic feature in drawing, I need a metod to hide cosmetic feature in section view or detail view, because it's visibile all cosmetics view not only the cosmetic from section plane. I try with layer, bat I need to see the cosmetic in other view.

Thanks all

If you have this cosmetic feature on layer, while in drawing, show layer tree and under Settings select Drawing layer status, check box in Ignore display status of layers in models. Then you will be able to control in which view this layer will bee shown or not shown.

It's great but Howcan modify the display layer for any view independently?

Cosmetics aren't properly shown in x-sectioned views if the drawing option "thread_standard" is set to the default "std_iso" or "std_ansi".

If you want your cosmetics to show up correctly, try changing drawing option to "std_iso_assy_imp". Then your cosmetics that aren't in the same plane that x-section will disappear.

Show/Erase IMHO was the best answer. If I wanted the cosmetic to reappear in the future, I would first go to Show/Erase and would become confused as to why it did not reappear. My answer is based on their was no layers by view in the past and the only solution was Show/Erase. Also, if the cosmetic is not on a layer, you must put it on one.
