Creating a New Drawing in Wildfire 3.0

Looks like you can check "Do not Prompt for Combined State" and you wont see it anymore. As far as what it is...sorry, not a clue. Never seen it before. Is this sheetmetal drawings?

For an assembly you can define a combined state where some parts are shown in wireframe, others with hidden lines removed and some shaded. When you create the view the prompt is to ask if you want to use any of those states. If you select the do not prompt button, you can still change the the state of the drawing from the view properties dialog box. (Note that a lot of plotters have problems printing a shaded image.)

Your answer has no value at all, it is completely unnecessary and usevaluable space here forhelpfullandusefullcomments.

In WF3.0 they have a new View Manager option called "Combined States". This allows you to set up several different view states that you want to show in a model without having create them independantly. Such as Style, Exploded, Orientation, Simplified Rep, Cross-Section, etc. Once a "Combined State" is created it can be added as a view in the drawing. It eliminates a lot of steps to view creation, but you do have to do it Model mode. You can bypass this by selecting "Default All" and it just accepts all the settings you currently have in the drawing. BTW, I had to call PTC to get this information...
