Designing at Touch Screen Enclosure

Please help.


I'm tasked with designing an enclosure for a Touch Screen. Approx 4" diag, with 4 AA. I can handle the enclosure part of it... but I'm not an electrical engineer and I have no idea what is involved with Touch Screens.


Does anyone have any stack-up information or a link to a supplier? I can find plenty of touch screen links, but I don't know what to look for specifically. Anyone know of a good productI could purchase and deconstruct?Any nudge in the right direction would be helpful.

touch screen is simply a digitized 2d space. your carpet in the house can become a touch screen for example.
