Detailed Views

Anyone know how to make the detail view independent from the parent view in Wildfire 3.0?

Double click the detail view, go to view type and switch from detailed to general. (you will lose the detail view notation.)

I need the detail view notation. By doing it the way you are referring to, it is basically a scaled, partial view.

We want to hide a component in the detail view, but not in the parent.

You won't be able to do that without making the view a general view. Then you could blank the component using -view - drawing display - component display. (Simplified rep would also work.) You could add the detail note back in and relate it to the view if you wanted it to look like a detailed view. Hope that helps.
