Dimensional problem

Hi all,

Can someone please help me with this problem. My company uses the inspection optionin the dimension properties to denote it as a SPC dimension but if you were to refer to the attach image, the GD&T box would cross the dimension line if the inspection option is selected.

Currently I'm solving this by adding the GD&T as a free note and if the dimension or the view were to be moved the GD&T would have to be reposition. Therefore I don't think its a long term solution

Thanks in advance

I don't know which drawing detail option is controlling this but here is what it looks like when I try that. A little weird with the leader line going to the GTOL but at least it does not cross the GTOL box.View attachment 877

Possibly adding a space or spaces between the callout and the GD&T symbol may solve your situation.

In the drawing options there is the following choice.

gtol_dim_placement - choices are on bottom or under value (on bottom is the default).

i have a similar issue...

i sometimes have a dimension with a note under it...for example, a "2x". i create this note in the dimension properties, not as an independent note. i dont want to use an independent note because i sometimes have issues linking that to my desired dim, or if its at an angle, it doesnt work at all...

so when i turn this into an inspection dim, the circle goes around the entire thing, including the 2x. is there anyway to stop the circle from grabbing that 2x? i know its possible with basic dims using "@[text@]" so i hope there is something similar for inspections

suggestions?
