Dimensions randomly scatter

mgnt8 said:
Following is more info from them (although the part about M140 not having any problems is not true - the issue is still there & I complained about it just today):

As far as Wildifre2.0 is concerned, the issue is resolved in date code M140.

Please update to the latest date code of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire2.0 ( M140 or later)in which the issue is resolved.

I'm on M150 and my dimesions have scattered at least twice just today. I wish I had a dollar for every time PTC told me to update to the latest date code.....

mgnt8, have you personally confirmed that the issue is resolved in M160, or is that just PTC's latest reply to this problem?

I installed M160 and did not see this problem anymore in my drawings. If you could, install it and let me know if it works for you. Here's the message PTC sent me a few days ago:

<DIV>DES: Dimensions relocate from its original position when switching between the model window and drawing.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I apologize for the delay being taken to get back to you.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I was testing the issue on a Network installation of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire2.0 - Date Code M140. This is the reason, I was not able to reproduce the issue on M140.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>However, I installed the build on a local computer and noticed that the issue is still occurring as you had mentioned in your last notes.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I tried with with latest build also - M160 of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire2.0.</DIV>
<DIV>This time I made sure that I have this build installed locally on my computer, so that I will have a similar set up as at your end.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I could not reproduce the issue anymore in this build. </DIV>
<DIV>Before writing this mail I tried number times in both the builds ( M140 and M160), to confirm that I can reproduce the issue in M140 and not in M160.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Could you please take a little bit more time to get the latest build M160 of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire2.0 and test the issue.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I understand that updating the date codes frequently is time consuming. </DIV>
<DIV>However, in order to confirm the final resolution, I would like to confirm that you are able to get the same results as I am getting at my end in both the builds.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>So, please install M160 of Pro/ENGINEER Wildfire2.0, whenever you get a chance, and let me know the results.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I will not be closing the call till I hear from you.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>I appreciate you patience and cooperation.</DIV>
<DIV></DIV>
<DIV>Thanks, </DIV>
