Drawing File Confused by Updated Format

I created a format. I then created several drawings from that format. Some time later I modified the format by moving the title the revision block. I went to each drawing and updated the format and everything looked good. The next day I went to look at the drawings and I found that title and revision block lines were in there original positions. However the contents of the cells were in the new correct positions. Some how there is some residual memory for the original location of the title and revision blocks. The same phenomenon is happen amongst my self and three other co-workers, so I know I'm not crazy. Has any one experienced this? Does anyone know how to correct this? Thanks in advance.

No, I did a file system search and I only found one instance of the drawing format.

I can't quite figure out how ProE handles the formats. Why can't the drawing file import the format when it is created and then retain that information? ProE trying to update the format automatically when the drawing opens causes headaches.

Actually, it works great. Our company has changed their logo several times. Change the logo in the format & every drawing is updated automatically when it is retrieved. Did you delete the old tables when you reapplied the modified format? Tables DO get stored in the drawing so you have to delete the old ones.

The only way I've seen to fix this is: replace the format - effectively re-applying the format file.

Pro/E does have a strange ability to "know" where the text has moved to, but not update everything else.

We have mapkeys to replace formats, I always recommend people run these whenever they create a drawing or up-rev an old drawing.
