Drawing Layers

I have a drawing of a part and I want some features, ie datums curves, that I want to see in some views and not in others. I think I have done this in the past but can't get it done now. I searched the archives and found a couple of things but the menu picks aren't the same as the ones I have, I'm working on W2. I want each view to be independant layer wise.

Thanks

To get layers for specific view, click the Arrow icon at the top of the Layer Tree and you should see view boundaries shown around the views. Select the View and it will show you layer settings for the view.

Here you can save the curves layer to not be hidden even if the Drawing layers have it hidden. If you ever need to return layer display for the view to how your drawing layers are set you can use View > Visibilities > Drawing Dependant.

layers for datum curves solve! for features i use to do view>drawing display>edge display>erase line. i am not sure if this will help you but i threw it in there.

Thanks for the help. I couldn't get oldman's method to work but Michael's method worked. I didn't work like I thought I remembered it did, but it worked. Once again thanks for the help.
