drawing layers

For the life of me i can't remember how to add all of a feature type to one layer. I have a large assembly and i want to turn off the cosmetic threads, not all cosmetics. Which happens when i turn of the cosmetics layer. How do i pick the cosmetic threads only... i don't want to do it manually, there are over 500.

View>Show and Erase. In the dialog box pick the Erase button. Pick the cosmetic button (bottom row, far left). Then pick erase all. You might want to try this on one view just to make sure it's what you want.

Thanks. I've been using Pro for over 12 years, sometimes the simplest tasks
are the ones that trip me up. I tend to over-complicate things.
