Drawing models cluttering 3D model -W2.0

In Wildfire 2.0.


When I add a surface finish symbol to a drawing it appears in the 3D model.


I cannot select itfor hiding.


It does not let me add it to a model layer for hiding via layers.


Is there some straight froward way to hide the simbol from the model?


I had a look in the config options but did not spot anything.
