Drawing Views

I have only been working with Pro-E for a couple of months now and I am having a problem getting the views I need when I go into a new drawing. I have a 3d box and I need to split it down the middle and view the inside on both sides. Can some tell me how to do this.

Thanks

I think what you're trying to do is create two section views, one looking in at each side of the inside of your box. Here's how you do it:

Create a starting view of your box (can be 2D or 3D).

Create a projected view of your starting view (left click once on starting view to activate it, then RMB over starting view>Insert Projection View)

Double click your newly created projection view. In the dialog box that appears, click on "Sections" in the left column of options.

Click the "2D cross section" radio button

Click the "+" sign and choose "create new..."

Pick a datum on the starting view to be used for your section view (if you're not using one of the default front/top/right datums, you'll need to create a custom datum that works for your particular model)

You should now have a single section view showing one side of the inside of your box. Next, do the same thing, only this time project your new view to the opposite side of your first projected view. Repeat the above steps and you will now be looking into the inside of the other side of your box. Hope that all makes sense.
