If you want to show the component as solid, pick the cross section in the view (cross section lines highlighted). Right click and select properties. Use Pick Xsec or use Next Xsec or prev Xsec to find the component. Select Excl Comp to exclude the part. Right click on the drawing (not in a view) and select Update Sheet.
further "double click" on the hatch in the drawing and select "exclude comp". The component will not be hatched, however it will be sectioned.View attachment 2960
