I have many subassemblies in my main assembly and when i explode the main assembly the sub's also explode. Is there a way to keep the sub assemblies together?
We use Pro-Process for exploded views and parts manuals. This module let you create exploded steps. You can manually move parts or subasm. It works well for us.
Start the View Manager, pick Explode tab. You can Redefine the Default Explode or create a new state. Either way, you will have to redefine the state. When the Mod Explode menu comes up choose Expld Status. Then in the model tree pick expand all. Then pick the items in the tree that you don't want to explode. You can also change the position of all the exploded parts.
