The family table (with instances) has a number of columns but it is enough to show a few columns in the drawing. How can I filter the unneccessary columns from the family table? There are also a few rows to be filtered. Any guidance will be much appreciated.
Thanks,
Rajesh S
Hi Deepak,
Thank you very much. I am able to filter the required rows and required columns. The mpeg file is very useful.
I am working on a family table of bolts. Is it possible to filter out a single size, eg. 1/8" bolt, based on the values in one of the columns (not instance name)?
Presently, I have to note down the instance names and filter it manually in the instance name (row). If a bolt of the same size is added or deleted, then I have to manually update the filter. Can this be made automatically with an "IF" statement or in a similar way?
Thanks,
Rajesh S
