hardware upgrading

I USE SOLID WORKS VERSION 2007 FOR DESIGNING GOLD AND JEWELRY MOLDS.
in some complex designs,my pc becomes very slow and this is not possible to work.
I have a 2.8 dual core cpu and 1 gb ram and my vga is 256 mb ati radeon x-800 pro.
I want to know wich part is more important for upgrading.and what is your recommended system.

I would upgrade your ram and video card. I would go with a Nvidia Quatro 700 at the min.
