Hatching

Does anybody know how to keep a hatching style for numerous
drawings??
When I click properties, replace model, the hatching I used
(angle and spacing) reverts back to the default when I
insert a different part but from the same family table....

How do I keep the same hatching. Using Wildfire 4

Not possible as far as i know. Years ago i asked PTC but the made an SPR of it i believe. Also to change it takes a lot of clicks.... Great program that Pro/ENGINEER.

That is a pet peeve of mine too. Why should I have to redo hatching in every drawing including upper level assemblies just because I swapped out a family instance?

Another is the set datums that appear unbidden in drawings. Nothing else just shows up like that, why should set datums? It can really mess up an assembly drawing to have some internal part datum appear unrelated to any visible geometry!

Has somebody figured out what the meaning is of the axis, dimension and snap lines list on the left side in drawing mode?

when you makethe section cut in the model, change the hatching to how you want it to look in your drawing. If you set the hatching in 3d to what you want it will be that way in the drawing.

Agree... Making the crossection in the model and setting the hatch there makes it consistant in the drawing.

How do you apply the hatching in the model? I did some searching through the menus and nothing popped out to change or set the hatching.

Any help?
