You have to map the pens of hidden edges in pen style table file to one that has pattern defined. For more info about creating pen style tables and its options see Pro/E Help.
with wildfire 4.0 M020, i can change the style line to the edges, but not to the hidden line!!
to change the style line for the edges, on the bottom at right of the Pro/E windows, i selected edge, then i just select the edge and right click with mouse, then style line, set dashfont, it gone ok; but with the hidden line, still not find how to change it, when i print it, it prints continues too!!
normally they should print discountinue and if i export the drawing to the autocad .dxf, it shows countinues.
You may also want to check your scale size. I've had this problem before and found that my scale was off and therefore showed lines as solid and not hidden. Once I changed the scale to the appropriate setting everything was good. Just something you may want to check.
