Hi Guys i am New user in PROE, I will Explain my situation here, I got assemly in front View in drawing and in top View i want to Hide some Component, How to Hide it Please Explain...

Thanks in Advance

Hi,

I would use Simplified reps.

Make a simplifired rep in assembly mode and choose to show it in the drawing view.

Right click on the drawing view, choose properites, choose view display and choose the simplified rep.

Note that you cant show BOM ballons int that view that are linked to the master BOM tabel. You have to make a new BOM table conected to the simplified rep to be able to have any balloon.

The other way is to make a new layer (layer tree) in assembly mode.

Then in drawing mode. Go to the layer tree and choose the view there you whantto hide thepart. Choose hide on the layer you just made (dont forget to save layer status)

Then that part will disappar in that view.

You can blank components in the drawing by going to the top menu and choosing:

View / Drawing display / Component display /

Choose blank in the menu manager and whether you want to remove the part from a view/sheet or all views.

You can Unblank as well if you blank the wrong part.

You need to be in the drawing to do this.

Hope this helps.

Hi,

When you right ckllick on a drawing view you can choose properties, then go to View states and choose the simplified rep you whant to use.

View attachment 4891

Ofcourse there have to be a simplified rep made in the assembly. In the pictureno siplified rep has been done yet.

Go to the View Manager

View attachment 4892

And then make a new simplified rep.

View attachment 4893

Choose edit and add the parts you don't whant to show.

This is how it looks like in WF5 in earlier versions use the model tree to choose which component you don't whant to show. Try a couple of times and you will finally get it.

My answer is a lttle bit backwards. Of course you gave to have made the simpyfied rep in the assembly before it shows up in the drawing.

Hope this clears it a bit.
