hiding annotations in one touch

Hello,

I can't hide the annotations such as surface finish symbols, geometric tolerances.

usinglayers does not work for surface finish and it is long way.

geometry rep. hides all but it hides other features too

Is there any easier way to hide annotationsin once

there is no show/erase menu about these features

Metin,

I assumed that since this was posted in the DRAWING Forum that you are talking about a drawing that you want to hide surface finish and geom tols in a drawing. If so, then show/erase certainly DOES that for you

Why do you say layers are no good for these, I always hide suface finish symbols, tolerances.... with layers. Until now I didn't find something that can't be added to a layer. You can add whatever you like to a layer.

So layers will be one way of doing this.

yes, this is not a question fordrawing.

part modelingand assembly using layer is a way but everytime hiding with layer is not easy.

Metin,

Since you are not talking about a drawing the best way (as Vlad has said)to hide these items is on a layer (actually I usually do a different layer for each different type of layer). Spend the time and get it right, it's not that big a job.

metin,

with rules you can layer what you want on each layer... not sure if this a wf2+ thing and you don't say what version you are on...

in a nutshell... make new layer, give it name that means something to you

under the rule tab, options>independent> then edit rule becomes available

change the look for ..to what you want the layer to have....then ok.... back to options... make associative.. that way it will add them as you add more what ever it is you want on that layer....better than adding manually each time.

I think that might work for you

Greetings metin,

go for customize screen, pull out the commands>view>model display> pull out the FULL 3D NOTES DISPLAY ON/OFF, This will do
