How to make centreline

hii Sandeep,
Better you create it in model and show in drawing by show/erase..
For that you can put axis point in sketch (menu..sketch/axis point).give symmetry constrain to point from two lines.

Holy sh!t i have to do all this just to make a simple centre line.I wonder why the hell companys still use this crap software.
Anyway i Axis point option is greyed out,how to enable it.

ok i all i have to do is Create that line in model using two ref point and then create a centreline on the midpoint of that line and then i can display it in my drawing.
Why the hell cant proe make it like solidworks click two lines in drawings and it creates a centreline betwwen them.

There are many things in proe which are unlike
solidworks or solidedge. The method that you describe is
available in solidedge. In case you wish to draft a line,
you can do so by sketching a line. Not very difficult. I
would suggest you take a class or an in-house training
program on Proe. Else you are in for a disaster.

Sandeep,

ProE is not a 2D drawing tool, it is 3D parametric modelling software that allows you to produce 2D drawings in a very efficient manner directly from the models you create.

If you are using it as a 2D drawing tool because you have not been trained how to create 3D models then you are not even scratching the surface of the capability of this software. To insult the software merely because you have limited knowledge of it is an affront to the people here who have spent years training on it and use it daily in their profession.

What you are doing is similar to piloting an aeroplane without leaving the ground. You are driving an aeroplane along the road because nobody showed you how to take off, and you are wondering why you are not flying, and you are calling the plane a crap vehicle because you are too ignorant to use it in the manner it was intended.

If you only want to do 2D drawing, ProE is not the software for you.

Also, your approach to the membersforum is quite rude. When you ask a question it is customary to do so in a polite manner and thank people who take the time to reply to you. They are here to help those who want to be helped, not to deal withignorant brats who throw their toys out of their pram in frustration.
