How to model a pyramid?

Can someone show how to do this? I choose a datum plane for my
sketch and then created a point . this doesn't seem to work.

easiest way to model a pyramid is using Parallel blend
(Insert - Blend). Just use a sketcher point as one of your
sections, and the base of the pyramid as the other section.

It can also be done via a Boundary blend or even a Variable Section Sweep.

Anyway, a pyramid can be done in XXXX ways. An extrude with one cut is all you need , (if you like extrudes....)
