Am currently working on a 3D scanned model of a human pelvis bone . It consists of 2 hemi-pelvis's and I require to split in into 2 symmetrical halfs . How do i do it ?
Is the scan data iges or stl? Whoever scanned it for you should be able to split it, assuming that the model was set up such that it was square to the mirror plane. Otherwise you will have to find this plane in the data.
Thank you . We decided to transfer that bit of the project to CAD Inventor . It was easy to split it and even the analysis was simple . Though I still regard PRO E as the best modeling software , its very convenient coordinate system and tools are unparalleled .
